Tamenglong, an administrative district of Manipur is endowed with hills,
ranges, narrow valleys and forests with rich variety of flora and
fauna. The district is located along the western boundary of the state.
Its administrative seat is situated at Tamenglong town which is also the centre of all commercial activities in the district.
The
hilltops and valley sides are dotted with small hamlets which are
inhabited by majority Zeliangrong Naga tribe (comprising of
Rongmei,Liangmei, Zemei and Pumei) and Kukis, besides minority Hmars,
Chirus and Khasis.

How to Reach
Tamenglong town can only be accessed through roads. Buses ply regularly from Imphal towards Tamenglong. If you take a bus in the early morning, you can reach the place by afternoon.
